The goal is to guide lesser-skilled users in capturing better images and diagnostic information effectively.

Earlier this year, a groundbreaking study in the journal Radiology revealed that a highly specialized AI algorithm could predict breast cancer risk with remarkable accuracy. This is a monumental step, as it provides real-world examples of how AI can be seamlessly integrated into a clinician's workflow.

AI is not just for clinicians; it's for patients too. Google Health's DermAssist is a prime example. This tool allows users to upload photos of their skin conditions and receive AI-based assessments. Although still in its preliminary stages, tools like DermAssist have the potential to revolutionize how people approach healthcare.

While AI in medical imaging has shown immense promise, it's essential to remember that the technology is still evolving.
